Basic information

Population ageing process is an inevitable character of the current world population. In the process of the ageing of society discussion is not targeting the rising proportion of the aged in society, but rather ageing is defined as a social category and relationship of society to it. The research of the existence and structure of social networks of seniors come under the spotlight. Social networks represent a system of interpersonal connections that are maintained by individuals of all age categories in various contexts.
